Halloween Time

The kids had fun this year at Halloween. Even Dallin, who is normally extremely anti-Halloween, was very brave this year.

A few days earlier for family home evening, we carved our pumpkin that we got from the pumpkin patch. The kids helped take out the guts and seeds, and then Dan carved the face.

Then we made super yummy, caramel apples. One of my favorite things about Halloween is caramel apples, so I was really looking forward to this part.

On friday the kids dressed up as a Jedi and Cinderella. Do the costumes look a little familiar? Well, that is because they were the same exact costumes as last year. lol Dallin and Sierra both decided they wanted to be the same thing this time around that they were last Halloween. So that would explain your sudden sense of deja vue.

That was just fine with me though, that they wanted to repeat. Saved us money in buying new costumes.

We trick or treated just around our neighborhood. The kids got a bunch of candy, and had a good time.

Sooo much fun, and sooo beautiful. One time Lindsay was a witch for Halloween like 5 times, I had to keep adding ruffles and lace to the bottom of her dress, lol. Finally she said "Mom please let me be something else." Soooo funny - it's okay kids if you want to be those characters for another year even. Love you
