Our 4th...Of July That Is

This year was the first year, since we've lived here, that Dan got Independence Day off. So we actually did something to celebrate the occasion.


We went swimming.



Played games.


Dan barbecued us a very yummy dinner.



We bought our own fireworks to set off.




The kids throwing little poppers. (we promise we didn't let them handle big explosives. lol)
Then walked down the street to watch the fireworks. There were some really good ones happening just up the rode. And we could see them perfectly. That was nice.

It was a nice, relaxing day.
