Our baby boy Quentin Miles joined our family on August 2nd, 2010. He was 7 lbs. 11 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long.
I went into the hospital for my surgery at 6:30 that morning to be prepped and ready by 8:30 AM. This was my first c-section, so I was nervous but was able to hold it together thankfully.
The before.
Everything went smoothly with the surgery, expect for one small hiccup at the beginning. My blood pressure dropped suddenly and my heart skipped a couple beats. But that was only for a minute and then everything was alright.
Prepped and ready.
Dan was in the surgery room with me and that was a big comfort and helped a lot. Next thing we knew Quentin was born. It was very surreal for me. I've waited so long for him to join our family, that it still didn't seem real until that moment when they held him up over the screen so I could see him.
The doctor said Quentin is a healthy little boy. And I am recovering well. No major drama this time for either of us, thank goodness!
First sponge bath. As you can see, he's not happy about it. lol
The kids meeting Quentin for the first time.
Proud Papa.
Quentin is such a sweet baby and a joy to the whole family.
Dallin and Sierra really love him.
The after.
Finally home. :)
He is definitely a blessing to us, and I thank God for the miracle.

He is so precious! Congratulations to you and your family;0)
Best always!
So cute! His hair looks dark. Did the other kids have darker hair when they were newborn?
Thank you everyone. :)
Jolie~ Yes, the other kids also had dark hair when they were newborns. And actually Sierra had the most hair, which is hard to believe with all her blonde locks.
What a beautiful addition to your perfect little family. He is so adorable! Congratulations!!!
